TRADITIONAL CZECH PUPPET PLAY
Johannes Dokchtor Faust, a Petrifying Puppet Comedye

A mainstay of the golden age of Czech marionette theatre (18th and 19th century), which at the time served predominantly adult audiences. Among all the titles Faust stood completely apart. Besides being a well known legend, its popularity as a puppet play was so tremendous, that it is to this day synonymous with Czech puppet theatre (Dilia Publishing, 1992).
