Based on the Czech legend of Rusalka (and on Antonín Dvorák's
opera). A rivermaid falls in love with a prince, follows him to dry land, but after a
short period of bliss, is betrayed. As punishment for forsaking the fairy kingdom, she is
doomed to hover forever over the swampslands, luring humans to death. Music represents an
integral part of the play. It ranges from classical opera to jazz to rock. video
- A mini-opera in which ten performers interact with 30 marionettes.
