The Don Quixote & Sancho Panza marionettes are handmade in Prague by Richard Kuklik with classical marionette skeletons. Skeletons and shoes are made of high-quality wood. The basic system for directing the marionettes has been constructed using an excellent combination of wooden handle, cord, and metal wire. The heads are cast in hardened dental plaster. The hands are cast in special elastic materials. The Don is 17" tall. The Don and Sancho are handcrafted in very great detail. The don carries in his hands characteristic weapons of a lance and a shield. All of his equipment is hand-made according to period models by a master belt-maker using a quality brass-tin alloy.
